Authors

Abstract

How can a world function that ignores half its population? This is, broadly speaking, what economist Linda Scott asks in The Double X Economy, a term coined to designate the phenomenon by which the economic system ignores women, but also the enormous benefits that are forgone by women. this same sexist logic. The author proposes a current that supports and promotes equality in the economic treatment of women, promoting their inclusion in work, wages, private property, capital and markets. Our intention in this communication is to give visibility to the term Double X Economy, providing some data and observations that will increase awareness and promote the empowerment of women.
