Author Biography

Sílvia Aulet i Serrallonga, University of Girona

Dr. Silvia Aulet is a professor in the Department of History and Art History at the University of Girona, teaching at the Faculty of Tourism, the Degree, the Master in Cultural Tourism and the European Master in Tourism Management. After completing a degree in tourism at the University of Toulouse Le Mirail (Maitrisse IUP Metiers du Transport, de l'Hotellerie, du Tourisme), he obtained a doctorate in tourism at the University of Girona. His main line of research is cultural tourism, focusing on areas such as tangible and intangible heritage, spiritual and religious tourism (and sacred spaces) and gastronomic tourism. He has also worked in areas such as intercultural dialogue and promoting peace through tourism.
