Abstract

The arrival of Spaniards in northern Morocco meant the importation of many novelties and events unknown to the country until then, which also meant the arrival of a large number of new names, neologisms, which will endure over time until they become loanwords in Northern speaking. The study is sociolinguistic, taking into account the variants age, sex and level of education of the cities of Tetouan, Tangier and Larache. Reference is also made to the evolution of these terms and their progression over time.
