Abstract

In the publication Business Policy. Text and Cases of 1965 four Harvard professors and, almost coinciding in time, other academics from the Stanford Research Institute (now SRI International) disseminated an instrument that made it possible to quickly analyze and present in a schematic and simplified manner the state of the art in an organization, the SWOT.

Joan Cuenca-Fontbona, University of Ramon Llull

Joan Cuenca-Fontbona is an accredited doctor in Advertising and Public Relations from the Ramon Lllull University (URL). He is a professor and member of the Research Group on Strategy and Advertising Creativity and Public Relations (GRECP) of the Blanquerna Faculty of Communication and International Relations-URL. He has been visiting professor in the Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Media Design at the College of Media, Communication and Information at the University of Colorado in Boulder (United States).
