Abstract

This essay analyzes the emergence of a new digital media ecosystem made up of new media launched in most cases by journalists. These entrepreneurial projects have as main characteristics to have small newsrooms and without high costs. There are many business models that are associated with these journalistic initiatives and it is common for several to be chosen for the sustainability of the aforementioned media.
